Malcolm White - Managing Director & Contracts Manager
Malcolm is a time served joiner and co-founder of the company. He has a vast experience of all methods of construction. His role is to oversee and co-ordinate the works via the construction team at Head Office. He makes frequent visits to site, attends site meetings and maintains overall responsibility for the labour requirements, completion to programme and smooth running of projects.
Stanley White - Director
Stan is a co-founder of the company and recently semi-retired but is still available to harness his extensive construction knowledge. Stan is a valuable member of the company.
Barry Speed - Financial Director
A co-founder of the company Barry is a time served joiner with responsibilities for the accounts, taxation and company law matters within the company. He assists with procurement and buying for projects as required by the construction team.
Keith Welton M.R.I.C.S - Senior Quantity Surveyor
Keith qualified in 1987 and spent some 5 years with Davis, Langdon & Everest before joining the local authority where he spent 10 years. Following this he went into private practice before joining White Bros & Speed in 1994. As an experienced surveyor his role is to measure and value as required, agreement of valuations and liaison with sub-contractors. He monitors site performance and costs, reports on programme amendments, contract matters and prepares and updates the Safety Plan as required.
Malcolm Corfield - Procurement Surveyor & Estimator
Malcolm has a background of experience within construction, materials and the supply industry. As a buyer with a national builder's merchant for over 10 years he joined White Bros & Speed over 20 years ago. He has continued to develop his skills and now has responsibility for small works management. His overall responsibility is to schedule and programme material requirements, place orders and confirm delivery dates etc. As part of the construction team he regularly reports to the Contracts Manager on any unforeseen problems and difficulties.
Mark Legge - Window Manager
Sales/Production Manager for the subsidiary company W.B. & S Windows. Having over 20 years' experience within the construction industry the last 10 years establishing the window company and is able to handle contract values in excess of £1 million. Mark is fully responsible for all aspects of estimating, material ordering, contract supervision, valuation, site supervision and programming.
Michael Allen - Window Production Manager
Michael joined White Bros. and Speed in 2007 coming from an 8 year procurement / co-ordinaton role within the aluminium window / facade industry. He has been involved with the Shuco and Kawneer systems in his time within the industry.
Michael has completed in-house training for the Schucal 2014, and most recently has completed the online training for the new Schucal 2015. This has allowed him to improve and expand his role within the windows division of this company.
